Linux Security Modules (LSM) is a framework that allows the Linux kernel to support a variety of computer security models while avoiding favoritism toward any single security implementation. The framework is licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License and is a standard part of the Linux kernel since Linux 2.6. AppArmor, SELinux, Smack, and TOMOYO Linux are the currently accepted modules in the official kernel.

Introduction PFQ is a functional framework designed for the Linux operating system built for efficient packets capture/transmission (10G, 40G and beyond), in-kernel functional processing, kernel-bypass and packets steering across groups of sockets/end-points. It is highly optimized for multi-core architecture, as well as for network devices equipped with multiple hardware queues. Compliant with any NIC, it provides a script that generates accelerated network device drivers starting from the source code. PFQ enables the development of high-performance network applications, and it is shipped with a custom version of libpcap that accelerate and parallelize legacy applications. Besides, a pure functional language designed for early stages in-kernel packet processing is included: pfq-lang. Pfq-Lang is inspired by Haskell and is intended to define applications that run on top of network device drivers. Through pfq-lang it is possible to build efficient bridges, port mirrors, simple firewalls, network balancers and so forth. The framework includes the source code of the PFQ kernel module, user-space libraries for C, C++11-14, Haskell language, an accelerated pcap library, an implementation of pfq-lang as eDSL for C++/Haskell, an experimental pfq-lang compiler and a set of diagnostic tools.

Gisgraphy is a free, open-source framework that offers the possibility to do geolocalisation and geocoding via Java APIs or REST web services. Because geocoding is nothing without data, it provides an easy-to-use importer that will automagically download and import the necessary (free) data to your local database (Geonames and OpenStreetMap: 42 million entries). You can also add your own data with the Web interface or the importer connectors provided. Gisgraphy is production-ready, and has been designed to be scalable(load balanced), performant, and used in other languages than just java: results can be output in XML, JSON, PHP, Python, Ruby, YAML, GeoRSS, and Atom. One of the most popular GPS tracking Systems (OpenGTS) also includes a Gisgraphy client.

With it, you can build CRUD web applications or professional looking administration pages by defining metadata in XML (or in a database) instead of hand-coding HTML, Javascript, CSS, SQL, and C# or VB. For ASP.NET and SQLServer (partial support for MySQL).

S-Match is a semantic matching framework.
S-Match is a semantic matching framework. S-Match takes any two tree like structures (such as database schemas, classifications, lightweight ontologies) and returns a set of correspondences between those tree nodes which semantically correspond to one another. S-Match contains implementations of the semantic matching, minimal semantic matching and structure preserving semantic matching algorithms. S-Match applies as a solution in many fields, including: information integration, ontology evolution and alignment, peer-to-peer information sharing, digital libraries integration, web service composition, agent communication, and query answering on the web. S-Match is extendable to host new algorithms.
